Rodney Burrell

I've been in the writing field since I was 13. I had my first poem published and I've just stuck with it to get to this point in my life. I don't really have one particular job in the publishing industry, but the only one I claim is a writer. Everything else is a bi-product of me loving what I do.

I write about everything and anything, but usually stick to lifestyle-related material. Cars, Human interest, Music, Movies, Events, Food, etc. I have a personal website (rodneyburrell.com) where I showcase my introspective pieces, poems, and other nonsense that doesn't fit in any other publication.

My first job in the publishing business was a writer for a luxury automotive magazine. They sent me to race school, and I've been a professional driver since 2004. I've driven or raced pretty much every type of car and motorcycle at some point and time. When I lived in Florida, it was primarily exotics and luxury autos. Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini, BMW, Lotus, Mercedes, with a few one-offs every once-in-a-while.

I'm a huge fan of music, and write reviews on new artists, live shows, and releases for one of our publications called Music Ninja.

I also have a love for the theater, and write reviews and previews for our Arts & Entertainment magazine, PGH Collective.

I love hearing from aspiring writers, models, business professionals, artists, entrepreneurs, photographers, and pretty much anyone with a creative eye. I want to collaborate with as many people as possible.
