Hello Everyone,I've decided to create this page,because I see that many people in our Society find it very difficult to do the above! I must admit,I was in much denial,and found it a problem to face up to what is real! It took me sometime in life to understand that it's very inportant to come out,and become real with myself first! Then,this cound allow me to be true too other individuals! Yes,I've been locked up many times in life,but never gave up! In fact,this situation of incarceration has been a true blessing in my life,because it allowed me too see,and try to understand why people do what they do? I observe that many inmates have this ideal that it's someone else's fault on why they are locked up! It's Society's fault,or I was on drugs,they wouldn't hire an ex-offender like me,so what else was I suppose to do? Oh! my childhood wasn't all that great! I can come up with many excuse's on why I couldn't face realiy,but that only cause me to feel much pain,and caused me to return to my old negative behavior,and actions! Another thing,I see that many Landlord's in Columbus,Ohio see those who have criminal records,which makes it difficult for ex-offenders to find suitable employment,and housing! So, these landlord feed off people like me far as housing is concern! Let me explain.On 1/2/15 I was living at a homeless Shelter in Columbus,Ohio due in part that I had to leave my daughter's residence,because she is on drugs,can careless about other's,and lie,use's people for her own good! Well, to make a long story short,I found this old apartment that my uncle lived in many years ago,and decided to find the Landlord for possible rental. I was told a good story about the apartment,but I was depessed,stressed out from the Shelter,and wanted my own place! Yes,these homeless Shelters in Columbus Ohio are no fun,but rather,their are many young men who steal,use drugs,try to control the place,and others that I would next time get help sleeping anywhere else,because you can't get much sleep in these Shelter's. It's only a business,and used for job protection,and to get much money from Society at large!Anyway,as I moved in this new place having the gas turned on,now there is no water or etc in the apartment,but I had paid $450.00 dollars to move in without looking at such location! Yes,I was so despert,and the landlord knew this! If I say anything,I will have to move or something just might happen to me! Now,I'm seeking another place to live! Price under $00.00
