Rodney Mesquias

Texas businessman Rodney Mesquias presently sits on the Board of Directors and serves as Administrator of Bee First Primary Home Care. For a decade, Mesquias also directed the firm’s physical therapy and patient care operations. A Texas corporation, Bee First Primary Home Care was founded by Rodney Mesquias and his mother, a nurse, in 1994. Twelve years later, they formed a sister company, BRM Home Health. Over the years, the joint enterprise has expanded from a single facility in the Rio Grande Valley to locations in Laredo, Robstown, Corpus Christi, Beeville, El Paso, and San Antonio. Together, Bee First Primary Home Care and BRM Home Health offer a selection of in-home services, ranging from skilled nursing to therapy. The company also performs minor related home modifications, such as the installation of handrails and wheelchair ramps. After devoting 15 years to home health care management, Rodney Mesquias has set a professional goal to join the nursing profession. In 2011, he earned a nursing degree from the College of Nursing at The University of Texas at Brownsville. After Mesquias attains licensure by passing the National Council Licensure Examination, a requirement for his chosen field, he intends to secure a position as a staff nurse caring for surgery patients. Outside of his professional endeavors, Rodney Mesquias remains affiliated with his undergraduate alma mater, Howard Payne University. He currently serves as a distinguished member of the university’s President’s Development Council. Mesquias holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the Brownwood, Texas-based school.
