Rodney Wood
Farnborough, Hampshire, England
I retired in 2005 after a career based in London and Guildford. I currently live with my wife, who I met when I was 15. I spend my timewith my granddaughters (aged 5 and 2), writing poems, doing front of house at the Westy, reading and enjoying life. I've been published in over 200 magazines and anthologies, I came joint first in the Moss Rich poetry competition, was shortlisted in the 2013 Poetry School/Pighog Pamphlet Competition and have read in quite a few places.
Currently I'm writing a novel sequence called The Poet Assassin with the tagline "Poetry is truth and beauty but he found only lies and ugliness."
Some comments about me: "so fucking cool" "you read a great set so easily and fluently" "bravo that man" "wow" "another gem" "awesome"
