Rodrigo Ambriz

Rodrigo Ambriz was born on August first 1990, in Michoacán Mexico. When he was only two years old his father came to the United States and got himself and his family legalized, which is one thing that he will forever be thankful to his father for giving him a life that would bring countless opportunities, shortly after Rodrigo and his mother joined his father in Idaho where they lived for three years. When his family decided to move from Idaho they chose Lake Tahoe, California. They finally settled in a small town called Incline Village. This where Rodrigo grew up and went to school and even to this day the place that he calls home. At the age of 17 he dropped out of high school to work and help his family. With all of his hard work and dedication at his job he was running and in charge of his own crew. After working for a few years he realized that in order to advance he needed an education, so while working days he took on night classes and earned his GED. Upon receiving his GED he decided that he wanted to change careers and pursue being the actor that he always dreamed of. Being from such a small town there wasn’t much opportunity, so with a little bit of research he came across Take2 performance Studios in Reno Nevada. The director of the school Justine Reyes saw something in him and decided to give him a scholarship to keep attending, a blessing that Rodrigo is very grateful for. He strongly believes that if it weren’t for Justine he wouldn’t be where he is today. Rodrigo’s acting coach waters who he worked with for over two years and still attends classes when he is home visiting. Only four months into training and school an agency from L.A came and did a talent search at his school. The agents wanted to see more of Rodrigo and they set a meeting for him to attend in L.A, Waters thought that he was still not quite ready and a little to "ripe" she said, so they postponed the meeting for the following year. Rodrigo went to through tons of training and acting classes and after a year of hard work and dedication he made the trip to L.A. and got signed with Sovereign talent. Shortly after that he made the life changing decision to leave his home town of Lake Tahoe and Embark on a new journey in L.A. He has since done a couple of commercials one being for Nevada Health Care. He has also done many short plays his favorite one to this day is called Swanky Champagne.
