Mariana is a First of Class Honours Chemical Engineer with more than 3 years experience in project management in the American multinational company Procter & Gamble.

Her core value "do the right thing" is an essential reason behind her success in the engineering and project management fields. This value is immediately translated into consistently recognized solid responsibility, discipline and attention to detail, which had allowed her to successfully deliver several projects at the same time and under dynamic and stressed environments. Specifically as part of her professional experience in Procter & Gamble, Mariana had the technical responsibility of several bilingual projects related to laundry products design, production and launch in the market. This experience required gathering technical expertise in new areas in short periods of time, propose new technical insights based on creative and original ideas, use innovative approaches to solve problems, and develop skills to promote effective multicultural team work.

Mariana studied Chemical Engineering at the Simon Bolivar University in Venezuela, obtaining First of Class Honours (Best GPA). She is currently aiming to expand her horizons in other industries and is especially interested in innovation and sustainability. Based on this, she successfully finished a Graduate Certificate in Water Resources at the University of South Australia with outstanding marks (High Distinction). Her ultimate goal is to obtain a management role in the medium-long term that can promote holistic sustainability, taking into consideration technical, economic, political, environmental and social perspectives into the budget equation.

Mariana enjoys physical exercising and taking care of her health and well-being. Specifically, she enjoys running and outdoors activities, as well as fitness training and yoga. She also enjoys listening to music, singing, as well as writing and reading novels and poetry.
