Mr Rodriguez currently leads for IBM Europe the business development of IBM Digital Transformation Services and Solutions, targeting the main Telecoms, Media and Entertainment (TME) multinational groups in Europe. He has the double responsibility of big deals and repeatable solutions pipeline generation, through the identification, generation, planning and/or development of digital transformation program plans, applying a full consultancy sales approach. Therefore, Mr Rodríguez has lastly focus on delivering the strategic consultancy support required to define and launch strategic plans associated to the digital transformation (and sometimes digital reinvention) of selected tier one Telecom groups in Europe.

As part of Mr Rodríguez continuous skilling to keep himself on the front edge of the subjects under his responsibility, he got certified by IBM in digital transformation related frameworks/methodologies like Design Thinking or Agile at Scale (SAFe).

Mr Rodríguez masters the technology drivers of the latest digital disruption all of us are facing all over the Enterprise marketplace: Cloud, Analytics, Mobile and Social networks, as well as Artificial Intelligence (Cognitive solutions like the ones within IBM Watson Cognitive solutions offering).

Mr Rodriguez previous position was UK&IRELAND Telco Industry Solutions Sales Leader, since October 2013 until July 2015. And before that, Mr Rodríguez has been working as business/system integration consultant, program manager and solutions professional, fully devoted to the Telecommunications Industry, for more than 20 years. He has had the opportunity to participate in a number of relevant Digital, CRM, BSS, OSS, Marketing and Services Innovation transformation related initiatives, in some of the most visible IBM Telco customers in South and West Europe like: Telefonica, Orange, Vodafone, Portugal Telecom (now Altice), DTAG, Swisscom, Eir or H3G, among others; hence covering the most significant Telco service providers business models (mobile, fix-line, data, wholesale, cable, n-play).

Mr Rodríguez has a Master Degreein Telecommunications Engineering (ETSIT-Vigo) and a Post-grade in'Telecommunications Companies Strategic Management' (UPM-Madrid).
