I am a retired Professor of English who taught writing and literature at the college level. Reading and writing is my passion and learning about the ancient writers, authors from the medieval age, the 18th and 19th century and authors from our early American canon are fascinating. Literature is a strong influence in our history not only of American but the world. Without literature we would not know of our past and our future.
