Natalia Rodriguez

Hola! My name is Natalia and I'm a freelancer for FastCompany, where I cover tech and write code tutorials for FastCo.Labs. I am also a full-time student Computer Science major at Southwestern University, a small liberal arts college north of Austin. Originally from Mexico, I immigrated to the States when I was 10 years old and moved around a lot. I attended over 17 schools in grade school!

As a student at Southwestern, I am a recipient of a full-ride Arts and Academics scholarship. I photograph and write for the University's newspaper, and recently became Editor In Chief of our student magazine. These two gigs have landed me interviews with Jane Goodall and conferences with National Geographic on the other side of the country.

I'm also the founder of the "Real People Real Beauty Campaign", a movement for positive body image. Check it out here.
