Raul Rodriguez

I am a recent graduate from the Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) program from the University of Texas at Brownsville. I am currently employed at a reference laboratory in Edinburgh, Texas as a MLT. In addition to my MLT certificate, I hold a Certificate as a Nursing Assistant by the State of Texas as well as a Phlebotomy Technician Certification by the state of Texas. My next challenge is to pass the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) certification examination test. My ultimate goal in my medical profession journey is acquiring the prestigious credential of Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) by the American Society for Clinical Pathology. In order to earn this credential, I must first complete the Medical Lab Program requirements and hold a Bachelor’s Degree from a university. I am working on my Bachelor of Applied Technology in Health Services Technology degree at the present time..
