Rod Thomas

Rod Thomas is an investment professional with more than 30 years of experience and expertise in financial and property investments alike. Rod is the founder and managing director of Avantis Wealth, where he applies his creativity and insights to help his clients achieve financial freedom and income security through high return alternative investments. He is currently based in Hove, England.

To provide his clients with the strongest possible returns, Rod Thomas developed the F.R.E.S.H. investment strategy, which emphasizes five core criteria: fixed returns, regular high income, exit strategy in place, security, and hands off. Using the F.R.E.S.H. strategy, Rod and his team of close-knit financial advisers at Avantis can achieve realistic annual returns of 7-15% for their clients through pensions, ISAs, and other investment classes. Prior to founding Avantis, Rod Thomas worked as a chartered accountant at Deloitte Touche for three years. He qualified as a chartered account in the 1970s, and he has been investing in both residential and commercial properties in the UK and internationally since 1982. He graduated from the University of Leicester with an honours degree in geology.
