Jason T. Roff
In just five years, Jason has authored half a dozen books including UML: A Beginner's Guide (Osborne Press), ActiveX Data Objects (O'Reilly & Associates), Visual Basic 6 Database How-To (SAMS Publishing), Visual Basic 5 Database How-to (The Waite Group Press) and Careers in E-Commerce Software Development (Rosen Publishing). Jason also contributed to the recent publication, ASP Professional Secrets (Wiley Press). In addition, Jason has over 10 years experience in the technology field. He has been a Manager (handling small and large size teams, while specializing in off-shore management of developers and designers from Russia, Ukraine, India, Australia, New Zealand and Argentina), an architect and software designer (dealing with object orientated methodologies, enterprise and n-tier designs, utilizing UML) as well as a Windows Software Developer (working with .NET, Visual Basic, C++, and Java). Jason is always actively learning new things and exploring fresh opportunities, as is reflected in his educational history. He has an M.S in Computer Information Systems from the University of Phoenix (where he held a GPA of 3.68), a B.S. in Computer Science with Applied Mathematics from the University at Albany, and an A.A.S. Data Processing degree from Farmingdale University. Jason currently attends Penn State University seeking his MBA.
