Roger Garza
Project Manager in Austin, Texas
Over the past decade, Roger Garza has proven himself to be a precise planner, a relentless manager, and a fierce fighter for Democrats in campaigns across Texas and in the Texas Legislature.
Roger has served as legislative caucus leadership staff on both policy and political matters. Roger has also served as a campaign manager and field staff for numerous political campaigns and as a Chief of Staff for two Texas legislators.
Since 2011, Roger has run a boutique political consulting firm that specializes in planning, strategy, and voter contact for Democratic/progressive campaigns and political institutions.
Major wins for Roger to date include: electing a Bexar County Democratic District Attorney in 2014 for the first time in over two decades; finishing the 2012 general election cycle undefeated while defeating two Republican incumbents and protecting the most vulnerable Texas House Democrat; re-electing the only out LGBTQ female (and youngest Democrat and first woman to ever be elected to her border district) in the Texas Legislature with 68.9% of the vote.
For his work in the 2012 election, Roger was named Consultant "MVP" by Austin website, Capitol Inside.
When he's not working, Roger spends entirely too much time extolling the virtues of Tim Duncan, Gregg Popovich, and all things San Antonio. Any remaining time is spent reading and rooting for the Red Sox, FC Barcelona, and several other international soccer teams.
