Roger Hughes

Architect AIBC, AAA, SAA, OAA, FRAIC, LEED® AP

Roger is a principal at HCMA and the founding partner of HCMA's predecessor firm. He was educated at the University of British Columbia and went on to complete continuing studies at the Architectural Association in London. During his 34-year career he has designed a variety of post-secondary, residential, civic, public, recreation, commercial and urban design projects. A number of these projects have been recognized by the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada and received the Governors' General Award for Architecture, including Renfrew Branch Library and Rogers Elementary School.

Roger brings to each project his unique experience working with committees, staff members and community stakeholders through the design process to ensure client participation and stakeholder consensus.
