Dr. Roger Bassin
A facial plastic surgery specialist with a decade of medical experience, Dr. Roger Bassin attained his undergraduate degree at The George Washington University. A recipient of Dean’s List honors, he graduated magna cum laude as a member of The Phi Beta Kappa Society and Psi Chi - The International Honor Society in Psychology. Matriculating at the institution’s School of Medicine and Health Sciences in 1992, Dr. Roger Bassin earned his medical degree after four years of study in areas including ophthalmology, pharmacology, and biochemistry. Upon completion of his graduate studies, Dr. Bassin enrolled in a one-year medical internship at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York. Between 1997 and 2000, he served as a resident in ophthalmology at Mount Sinai Medical Center, also located in New York. During this time, Dr. Bassin amassed clinical experience in community and private hospitals. He also successfully performed more than 150 cataract surgeries and gained experience in treating glaucoma, retinal, and pediatric conditions. In August of 2002, Dr. Roger Bassin accepted a position with the Brevard Eye Center, a private practice. Calling upon his extensive training, he treated numerous patients with various ocular and facial issues. After a year with the practice, he founded the Bassin Center for Eyelid & Facial Plastic Surgery P.C., based in Florida. In his practice, he employs the latest in reconstructive surgery techniques to provide patients with the healthy, natural look that they desire. To supplement his clinical experience, Dr. Roger Bassin maintains affiliations with a number of professional organizations. These include the American Board of Ophthalmology and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.
