Roger Clarke

Roger Clarke has instructed students at the Hinsdale Racquet Club in Illinois since 2011. Employed by this facility year-round, he has worked with students of all ages and skill levels. He has trained a number of adolescents who went on to compete at the high school level, including one player who ultimately became the captain of her team. Employing a unique teaching approach that incorporates a number of character-building elements, Roger Clarke strives to help students grow both as athletes and as human beings.

In addition to his work at the Hinsdale Racquet Club, Mr. Clarke teaches during the summer months as a tennis pro with La Grange Country Club. He has held this position since 2006 when he was still a high school student. In addition to instructing players, he helps club members find appropriate tennis gear in the pro shop and performs routine maintenance on the club’s clay courts.
