I grew up in Illinois and moved to California in 2000 to attend Vanguard University of Southern California. During my time in California I graduated from Vanguard University with my BA in Communications, worked for a few years at The Militia Group, managed bands under the moniker of The Pocket Knife Agency, and was employed by my Alma mater. After working for a few years at VUSC I decided that I wanted to become a Librarian and I am a student at SJSU in the MLIS program. My wife Erin and I moved to Sioux Falls South Dakota in 2010 to get back to our Midwestern roots. I am a music enthusiast, coffee connoisseur, and a day dreamer.
