VARIETY IS THE SPICE OF LIFE Tough. Sensitive. Fun. Serious. Sporty. Feminine. Masculin. Mum. Dad. Small. Big. Nice. Cheeky. Globetrotting. Unpretentious. Colourful. Spontaneous. Multicultural. Hague(ish). Adventurous. Ambitious. Driven. National. International. Musical. In short, I am diverse. Professionalism. Creativity. Innovation. Trustworthiness. No-nonsense attitude. Customer-friendliness. Sympathy. Service. Practical results. Flexibility. Quality. As the ‘founding father’ of MCR I represent everything mentioned above. All of the above aspects are, in one way or another, a reflection of myself and form the basis of MCR, the marketing communication company I started 12 years ago. For over 20 years now I’m ‘building’ strong brand names, I’m supporting the formulation of propositions and I’m advising which message comes across best in a certain target group and how it will achieve the objectives in a visible and sometimes facetious way. First as an employee and over the last 12 years as an employer. You could say that development is a constant factor in my life. Leadership, vision, guts and perseverance, creativity, building bridges.... The need for ‘variety’ being the ‘spice of life’ exists all the time. I won’t shy away from interesting challenges whether they are private or business. That way you discover your own talents and you start thinking about how you would like others to see you. Investing in the development of the brand, the client relationship and last but not least myself. The only way to be a successful entrepreneur from my point of view is: clear communication and standing by the agreements you make hence building long term relationships. That’s when you notice how strong a ‘brand’ you are as a person. Building my ‘personal brand’ is an ongoing search for the perfect combination between my professional abilities and the environment in which they can prosper. For more info: www.mcr-bv.nl
