Roger DG Knight

Born in the market town of Neath, South Wales, I attended Alderman Davies's School and Emmanuel Grammar School. Love playing football and rugby in my younger days but then discovered music and the art of DJing and never looked back.

For 30 odd years I worked in sales in both the retail and capital equipment markets. I seemed to have a natural flair for management and so found myself as supervisor, manager, trainer in nearly all the organisations that I worked for. I believe that without those years of experience where I learnt to deal with people from all walks of life I would not have had the confidence to strike out on my own in the wedding market after losing everything financially in the last credit crunch era. The best decision I ever made as I'm now in control of my destiny so to speak and although it's tough financially the benefits far outreach the rewards.

I have a fantastic partner in Charlene and we live with George the cat and Deisel the dog in a lovely part of Somerset.

My motto in life comes from Mayou:

Best advice I ever received was from my late father, " you meet the same people on the way up as on the way down. So be nice!"

I now spend my life helping others by creating memorable moments at baby namings, weddings and funerals. I also help out a t a local nursing home as their Chaplain and work in the community as a Dementia Friends Champion.
