DEVELOPER. A developer is someone who pushes each person to be the absolute best they can be and believes that every person is capable of success. The human mind often makes us doubt ourselves when faced with tough situations and without people encouraging other people in those situations, the mind will continue to destroy itself. Developers come in many forms, throughout all occupations, genders and personalities; however, in the end, they all believe the best in people. Developers are people who are genuinely happy when someone they believe in achieves success. Developers are people who invest themselves in others. Developers are people who make others know their worth. Without people helping me develop and allowing my confidence to grow, it would not be one of my strengths. Without people telling me that I can and will succeed, I would not be where I am today.

"Dear Future Buckeyes," assignment allowed me to reflect on the past couple months of college and showed me how much I have changed and life has changed and people have changed me. I learned a lot that you have to keep a planner--college is way too busy. I learned that there is no such thing as a bad time to call your mom (or whoever that person holds that role in your life). I learned to be yourself; popularity isn't a "thing." I learned that it's okay to grow apart from those you love back home because the ones who matter will still be there when you get home. I learned that your mistakes do not define who you are as a person and no amount of advice can save you from the lessons He wants us to learn.

My absolute dream job is an occupational therapist in Boston, MA working with children with disabilities in a public school. Using google to find an actual job listing for the exact job that I hope to have someday gave me hope. I learned that my dream is out there and I just have to be ready to work for it. This task also made me realize that I am far from it. There are so many things I'm going to have to go through before I can reach my dream job, but I still need to appreciate this moment--right here, right now--for what it is. I am accomplishing my dream everyday and with every breath, living the exact life I've worked for.
