Roger Thompson

Certified in family practice, Dr. Roger Thompson is an Attending Physician and President of the Medical Staff at Riverview Medical Center. He also works at the Family Practice of Middletown, located in Middletown, New Jersey. A graduate of Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey who completed his degree with honors, Dr. Thompson holds a BA in Biology. He later attended University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He additionally serves as a Professor of Family Medicine at Robert Wood Johnson. Dr. Roger Thompson also holds a post at Bayshore Community Hospital.

Dr. Roger Thompson has won awards for the professional care he provides for patients, as well as recognition for his professionalism and contributions to the medical profession. Dr. Roger Thompson’s awards include recognition from the National Committee for Quality Assurance for excellence in caring for both diabetes and heart/stroke patients, the Riverview Medical Center’s Orion Award for Professional Excellence, and the Distinguished Physician Award for Outstanding Contributions, also awarded by Riverview Medical Center.
