Roger Whitson

Roger Whitson is a Marion L. Brittain Postdoctoral Fellow at the Georgia Institute of Technology. He is currently cowriting a book on the impact of social media on the teaching and scholarship of British poet and painter William Blake. His dissertation focused on the use of Romantic authors and ideas by Twentieth and Twenty-First Century writers, filmmakers, and digital media artists to conceptualize late-print culture. When not doing his research or blogging for Teaching Romanticism, TECHStyle, or Zoamorphosis: a Blake 2.0 Blog, Roger loves reading comic books, finding appropriations or adaptations of William Blake in strange places on the internet, and spending time with his cats Buddha and Nemo.
