Rohan Dalvi
Mumbai, India.
I am BE Electronics from Vidyalankar institute of technology but after carefully studying myself I would define myself as a manager.
Starting from school where I have represented my school at district level badminton competitions and still managed a distinction which I attribute to my time management and my ability to prioritize tasks.
I continued with the same zeal in college and was the event manager for Fervor’08; A national level technical fest. I worked across many verticals such as event design, promotions, event organizing.
I had started a BEAM robotics club in my degree college where we used to host seminars for students on relevant topics. I also used to train first year students so that they can participate in robotics level one events hosted at various colleges.
Had a wonderful experience in the corporate industry during my stint with Capgemini for more than a year! Where I was responsible for client interactions, and have delivered the web apps without any client escalations. I was working with the offshore team where I got an opportunity to learn how to manage conflicts, be assertive when needed & more importantly how to work with different people. At Capgemini I had the chance to train a few people and that enhanced my managerial skills and decision making skills.
I aspired to move into management and be a domain expert & looking for excellent opportunities in Project Management. Currently I am pursuing PGDM in Business Design from Welingkar institute of management which is one of the top B-Schools in India with a huge legacy of more than 35 years and an alumni base consisting of CXO's.
I have seen a glimpse of project management, through various projects I did during my MBA and internships.
I am certified associate in project management (CAPM), from project management institute (PMI), USA.
Passionate about learning, highly optimistic, a keen observer with an eye for detail and believe in punctuality. I appreciate challenging tasks and a healthy work environment.
