Rohan Siddhanti

Brooklyn

Rohan Siddhanti is a young professional who works at Mana Health, a startup dedicated to bringing patients and doctors closer together through the intelligent use of healthcare data. At Mana, Rohan is the Client Services Manager, while also working on Business Development for the company.

While a student at Cornell University, Rohan was an active part of the greater community, both at his home in DC and Ithaca. He was a frequent participant in the television program Darshan, which was targeted toward DC's Indian-American community. And at Cornell, he wrote articles for the school’s newspaper, which helped him pursue his passion for the news.

In hopes of getting the entire picture of a news story, Rohan Siddhanti gets his news from numerous sources. Some of the many news sites and blogs that he regularly taps for information include The Atlantic, Project Syndicate, The Associated Press, FiveThirtyEight and the Washington Wire. Through these various different news sources, Rohan is able to synthesize and analyze information so that he stays well-informed.

A voracious reader, some of Rohan Siddhanti's favorite books are non-fiction, on topics such as historical events, biographies, human decision-making, how our brains work, the economy, how to improve America and politics.

As well as his interest in domestic events, Rohan works to stay physically active, and regularly partakes in such activities as sailing and rock climbing. More recently he’s begun rock climbing at Brooklyn Boulder in Sommerville, the only indoor rock climbing arena in the Boston area. Back in college and high school, Rohan played basketball and tennis, which he also continues to do to this day. He is also an avid follower of sports teams from his native DC, particularly the Redskins.
