Rohit Chakravarthy has served as Amobee, Inc.’s global controller since 2015, alongside serving as its senior vice president, a recent promotion. With the joint roles, Rohit Chakravarthy oversees a multi-national team of 30 and manages the audit committee’s presentations and communications.
Since joining the company, he has implemented cost-saving measures in the finance department while looking to streamline processes across offices. To that end, he implemented a robotic automation process that reduced the finance department’s costs by 20 percent.
Mr. Chakravarthy also spent eight years at Silicon Image, during which he held multiple roles. In his final years with the company, he served as a corporate controller and managed a team of 20. As part of his work, he created a shared service center that helped reduce costs by relocating non-critical functions to China.
A certified public accountant, Rohit Chakravarthy earned a bachelor of commerce from the University of Madras, India, where he majored in accountancy. He is also a certified information systems auditor and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
