Roland Lorenzo

A finance executive and investment banker with a rich degree of experience in his field, Roland Lorenzo formerly served as a Managing Director of Credit Suisse. He worked with Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB) in the 1990s and 2000s. Before assuming his responsibilities as Managing Director, Roland Lorenzo held oversight for CSFB's non-dollar equity finance division, in which capacity he led and coordinated various initiatives at offices in the United States, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region. As a result of his performance, Mr. Lorenzo secured promotion to Managing Director and Head of the Equity Finance Group for Europe and Asia, where he trained his attention on prime brokerage, alternative capital, securities financing, managed lending, and more. In tandem with this role, Roland Lorenzo worked as President and Chief Operating Officer of the CSFB / Tremont Hedge Fund Index LLC, made up of hundreds funds selected from a pool of thousands. Over the course of his tenure in these roles, Mr. Lorenzo managed more than 125 employees and helped generate in excess of $100 million for the CSFB business.

Aside from his work in the finance arena, Roland Lorenzo maintains a busy schedule of philanthropic activity, donating to such worthy organizations as the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the American Heart Association, and the Foundation Fighting Blindness. In his free time, Mr. Lorenzo enjoys collecting vinyl and currently owns more than 750 disco, jazz, dance, reggae, and R&B records dating from the 1960s through the 1980s.
