I was born and raised in Wisconsin; so coming to North Carolina has been a big change in my life! I've always wanted to get closer to the coast and travel the world. Moving for college is just the little step I needed in order to jump start on that adventure. I have always been drawn towards the beach and I am really hoping on owning a house on a body of water some day. Coming so far from the north to the east was a big accomplishment and brings me closer to my goal.
During high school, every summer I would go on the lake almost every day with my friends and just be outside in the sun! Some of my best memories are on lakes and vacations on the ocean :) Whether it was parasailing, tubing, or just swimming around there is no place better than being in the sun in the water. In my spare time I danced competitively, played volleyball, softball, and lacrosse. Through dancing I met some close friends. I loved dance because you were able to express yourself and also work together to make something beautiful. Lacrosse was a big team sport and you had to know where players on the field were going to be. In order to accomplish a play you had to work well as a team. I also worked part-time at a gluten free bakery, which was the best job I could have asked for. I had an amazing boss who would go to the ends of the earth for me. I learned so much about Celiac disease and other gluten free intolerance sicknesses. I became much more literate in this subject ever since working here. Now here in college I want to put some of the activities aside and really focus on my studies and achieve good grades!
My major is fashion merchandising and I have a serious shopping obsession so it couldn't be any more perfect for me. I want to become a buyer for a store. I would choose which clothes will be sold in that store and my dream is to be the buyer for Urban Outfitters.
