Rolly Seth

Have completed my B.Tech(Electronics & Communication) in the year 2009 with 9.74 SGPA in the 8th semester and 9.56 CGPA of all 4 years. I have worked as an intern in various well-known firms where I got a chance to meet some of the fine brains . Each internship was a valuable experience, be it CEERI(CSIR) ,RRI or TIFR . They all have helped in developing me as a person both professionally and personally. I also got a chance to work as a facilitator for a University of California,Berkeley project named " MILLEE", which was again a new kind of experience for me. After completing my internship at GMRT(Giant Metrewave Radio Telescope), which is the world's largest array of radio telescopes working at metre wavelengths and a part of TIFR (TATA INSTITUTE OF FUNDAMENTAL RESEARCH), I got an opportunity to work as Scientist Fellow (Quick Hire Scheme) at CSIR Headquaters as part of CSIR's transformation core project team. After working there with Joint Secretary- CSIR, Dr. K. Jayakumar for about 2 years, recently I have been selected in the founding batch of 'Young India Fellowship'. This one year multi-disciplinary residential programme in collaboration with University of Pennsylvania is first of its kind in India and is modeled on the prestigious Rhodes Scholarship of University of Oxford. I look forward to growing my skill set more by taking each day as a new learning experience and eventually aims to deliver something for the betterment of society.
