Rome Viharo is currently the Co - Founder and CEO of Audience Unlock,a proprietary technology for audience development- and the Founder/Developer of aiki.wiki,a prototype for a collaborative digital library and is continuing expansion into online consensus building.
In 2014 Viharo published the website Wikipedia we have a problem which focuses on his experiences building online consensus on two controversial wiki wars and exposing harassment occurring among Wikipedia editors and admins.
From 2008 to 2011, Rome Viharo was the founder of Media Social, and innovated a unique viral and social video audience development product for some of the biggest agencies and brands in the world, including OMD and Group M, including Jennifer Aniston's Smart Water campaign, Audi's Green Police Superbowl Campaign. In 2011 Media Social was sold to Emerge Digital.
In 2011, he was the co-presenter of "Google Consciousness" a TEDx talk that explored the concept of social media evolving to become a form of collaborative governing. The talk was #1 most popular TEDx talk in the world for almost a year.
Previously Viharo was an award winning digital filmmaker and EMI recording artist and producer.
