Enrique Romero

I am an undergraduate student at Pitzer College in Claremont, CA. double majoring in Sociology and Spanish. I have experience in teaching within the United States and internationally as an English Teacher Assistant in both Costa Rica and Italy. I also have experience in research, having served as a research assistant for Professor of Sociology Roberta Espinoza at Pitzer College and through my participation in Summer Research Opportunities Program (SROP) at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. My research interests include access to higher education for low-income and minority students, race and ethnic studies, and health disparities among low-income communities.
