Ronald Bohm

My name is Ronald Bohm and I am a senior litigation partner with Blackburn Lawyers in Richmond Hill, Ontario. I love my cottage on Salmon Lake in the Kawarthas and outdoor life, working with my hands building decks and playing with my tractor ( my wife calls it my green girlfriend ). On the water I enjoy kayaking and putting around on the pontoon boat, In the winter I am an avid snowmobiler and enjoy exploring Ontario’s thousands of kilometers of trails.

I enjoy giving back to the community. I served for many years on the Foundation Board of Blue Hills Academy ( now York Academy ) which assists kids and their families with mental health issues. For many years I served on the Foundation Board of the York Central Hospital ( now Mackenzie Health Richmond Hill Hospital ). Over the past decade I have served on the Board of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, serving in 2018/19 as its President. All of that board work is strictly volunteer and without pay. During that time I have worked to improve the laws of this province to help the little guy and provide access to justice. Personally, I love good food and took a Chinese cooking course at George Brown college years ago. My favorite thing to BBQ is a whole 16 lb. strip loin nick named “ the beast”, which has become legend amongst my friends and family.

And finally, to feed my soul, I love writing songs for and playing the piano and enjoy really banging out a tune.
