Ronald Espanto

I am now the Chief Fraud Officer of PricewaterhouseCoopers Global and Partner at Isla Lipana & Co., CPAs specializing in Fraud, Risk, and Management Consultancy. My education centers in my interests which includes an Accountancy degree from Central Luzon State University (UP System), a Criminology bachelor at the University of Perpetual Help System Dalta, Chemistry degree from York College (CUNY), Doctor of Medicine from Harvard Medical School (under the Kennedy Scholarship), a Law degree from University of Santo Tomas, a Master of Science in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science through the Chevening Scholarship, and an Honorary Doctorate in Humanities from Dartmouth College. My primary years have been Catholic educated.

I have several licenses related to my practice. It includes a CPA license, Registered Chemist, and Registered Criminologist from the Professional Regulations Commission. I am also a member of the Philippine Bar, a Certified Accounting Technician, an ER Doctor in the United States, and passed the rigorous examinations for the Certified Fraud Examiner qualification.

Aside from my Main Practice, I also supervise several Security Agencies to utilize my Criminology license within the limits prescribed by law.

Meanwhile, as I was doing that, I also supervise the Accounting Information System of CityMall as part of my CAT qualification.

As Chief Fraud Officer, part of my duties include supervising the Global Fraud Team. As Partner of PwC PH, I am part of the Quality Control Group in Singapore which I am a Chairman of. I also sometimes travel to the United States for the annual Academy Awards.

My hobbies include reading and writing. Some of my favorite authors include John Grisham, Dean Koontz, JK Rowling, Pseudonymous Bosch, and James Patterson. As a kid, I grew up reading RL Stine. I am also a Star Wars fan, and reads Young Adult.

During College, I did some campus journalism. I spent a year as Staff Writer, two years as Literary Editor before assuming as Editor-in-Chief of The State You. I edited The Aviator twice, which is our Annual Literary Folio.

I am a Roman Catholic, a devotee of St Joseph Husband of Mary, and Our Lady of the Rosary of Manaoag. I also love pets, especially cats.
