Ronald L. Discher

Multi-skilled dental professional Ronald L. Discher, DDS, earned his DDS from the Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 1971. Prior to obtaining his graduate degree in Dentistry, Ronald L. Discher studied microbiology at the university for three years before being admitted into Dental school. Following his graduation from Dental School where he graduated ranked 5th out of 155 classmates, he relocated with his wife and new born daughter to Springfield, Ohio, to begin his dental practice. Continuing his relationship with the College of Dentistry as a part time clinical instructor, he worked to grow his practice to multiple generations of Springfield families. He continued his teaching at the University until 1982, returning for a short time from 1992 to 1993. Ronald L. Discher, DDS, provides his patients with his experience gained from soon to be four decades of private dental practice. His office always offers same-day emergency care and works to meet the appointment needs of working patients and school-age children. Although he realizes "going to the Dentist" is not at the top of anybody's list of fun things to do, he and his staff try their best through humor, efficiency, and quality care, to make you think as you leave, "hey, that was not so bad."
