Ronald Lindsay

In 1988, Ronald Lindsay created the Concord Fortress of Hope Church in Kansas City, Missouri. Today, Lindsay leads the church as the Senior Pastor and sits on the board of Hope Community Development Corporation as chairman. Similarly, he is a member the board of the Kansas City Community foundation. Lindsay's church consists of 4,000 participants and provides youth ministry, Bible study, and communion in addition to regular Sunday services.

Ronald Lindsay founded the church with the goal of raising the community's spiritual standards. By doing so, he hopes the overall standard of living also will increase. By teaching members about Jesus Christ, Lindsay believes his community will grow stronger through the continuity of leadership and individual accountability.

In 23 years of service, Ronald Lindsay has expanded the church from a 30-member place of worship to a 16-acre facility. Recently, Lindsay instilled the Freedom School, a before and after school childcare center and the Hope House, a facility designed for outreach and family counseling. Furthermore, Lindsay hopes to continue the expansion to include an even larger education center for children.

Furthermore, Ronald Lindsay leads the church initiative, A Call to Oneness, which is a community action group As Chairman of the Board of Hope Community Development Corporation, Lindsay works in a similar role to support areas most in need of reconstruction. Many of his community service roles have led him to partnerships with neighborhood associations and the Missouri Department of Transportation.
