Ronald Wekesa Wafula

Ronald Wekesa Wafula, is a Business Management Finance option graduate from Masinde Muliro University in Kenya. He graduated in 2014, after four years of working both smart and hard to be crowned with a First Class Honors degree and featuring in the chairman's List of Honour. He is currently a Brand Ambassador at The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), a UK chartered body for professionals in accounting and finance professions, a member at AfricaTalentBank.com (ATB) and a sought-after trainer and speaker at Realedge International Limited.

Ronald has vast experience in leadership and management. Whilst at University, he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Business Students Association, a position he coveted and used to organize Corporate Social responsibility programmes, Students Corporate Engagement seminars, as well as, mentorship and partnerships development. He served as the Executive secretary to the Enactus Club and as a Commissioner in the University Elections Board.

Ronald has been instrumental in organisational development both in his professional as well as personal engagements. He led the Cooperative Bank Marketing Challenge in which 162 funded accounts were opened. As a Brand Ambassador for ACCA Kenya, he has managed to engage Universities & Schools of Business in the western region of Kenya, to subscribe in to the association, organized more than 5 sensitization events and engaged more than 1,000 students to join the association.

Ronald was a pioneer in the prestigious G-United program, an initiative launched by the Kenya Presidency, to aid the promotion of educational outcomes, national cohesion and to impart employability skills to unemployed graduates. Posted to Kilifi County, he was able to transform the local community through a myriad of projects including: ICT for All, Life Skills Mentorship, Speech and debating Club and Save, Invest and Grow Kilifi projects. He left an indelible mark in the hearts of children and believes in changing the world through changing mindsets and attitudes.

Ronald is passionate about entrepreneurship and finance which motivates him to keep updated on current news and publications in the industry. He strongly believes that, the change of the African continent and the world at large, will be through entrepreneurship which should be embraced full throttle.
