Halo! Saya Rona Mentari, seorang Juru Dongeng.

Hello I’m Rona Mentari. I’m a professional storyteller living in Special Region of Yogyakarta, Indonesia. I am also doing a social movement to popularize storytelling tradition in Indonesia.

I tell stories since I was six years old. Currently, together with my sisters and some volunteers, we build a social home learning for kids in Yogyakarta using storytelling as the learning medium. With the experience that I have from telling stories around Indonesia and joining some storytelling events in Sydney and New Zealand, I am also active as a professional storytelling coach.

I love to tell stories with javanesse traditional puppet and my little guitar. Now, I am focusing on storytelling movement in Indonesia and love to share Indonesian story to the world.
