Ron Clark

"If art is to nourish the roots of our culture, society must set the artist free to follow his vision wherever it takes him." In his junior year of his undergraduate studies, Ron realized his vision and found his art—marketing and advertising.
As a result, a passion for these subjects developed. This passion led him to the established public relations firm, Porter Novelli, the New York City office as an Account Management Associate. Here, he worked on the Timberland Pro Boot Company account; pitching to various media outlets such as bloggers, and magazine editors securing product placements for the client. In addition, he worked with the U. S. Hispanic Marketing Department on the Soy Joy account, developing their social media marketing campaign. Furthermore, Ron is the founder and former president of his college's chapter of the American Advertising Federation, where he created an active membership of over forty people. Under his tenure as President, he organized two panel discussions in which he had industry leaders and executives from Omnicom, as well as the digital marketing company R/GA come speak to the students to educate them on the marketing and advertising industries. Ron is currently working at Omnicom Group directly with the Senior VP, Chief Diversity Officer and Founder of ADCOLOR in which he assist in Diversity and Inclusion initiatives. He also assists administratively with the 2012 ADCOLOR Awards & Industry Conference and with the development of the 2012 ADCOLOR Microsite, operating as its content manager.
