Since a young age, entrepreneurship and business development have been my abiding passion; when I was 11, I started my own business selling fridge magnets to my neighbours. I was segmenting, targeting, positioning and managing my marketing mix before I could ride a bike. (Which I eventually decided to learned how to do in order to improve delivery times and extend the reach of my sales territory...)
I have now worked as a business development professional for the past 8 years, specializing in media sales and management. I have worn many hats over the years - I have been a Sales Trainer at a large telecomm company, a top-seller in a billion-dollar IT sales firm, I've acted as Business Development Manager for a company launching the medium of scaffold advertising into the Canadian market, and I've been a media salesman, selling digital out-of-home media on the side of Madison Square Garden, at the UEFA Euro and at the Cannes Film Festival. I've also worked as an independent marketing consultant, having the opportunity to help consult MuMedia on the technical design, deployment and marketing strategy of a digital signage advertising network, acquire sponsors for the Milan International Film Festival, launch RentersPages.Com, and work as Director of Marketing for the Liberal Party of Canada in Laurier Ste-Marie riding.
I currently work in Business Development at UB Media, responsible for sales, marketing and product development for our four media networks; Resto-Bar, Gym, Campus and Cinema.
