Ronda Rose
Student and Small Business Owner in Texas and Ohio
I am currently pursuing my bachelor's of business administration in management of information systems at Tarleton State University.
Prior to returning to college, I owned and managed a small trucking company and gained experience as an administrator in the insurance and accounting industries.
In 2008, our family moved to part of the old family farm to raise our children in the country. Over the next fifteen years we slowly grew a small cattle herd and added a few horses to our beloved animal menagerie (that already included dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters). I learned to build barbed-wire fences, pull a cattle trailer, ride a horse, and care for cow/calf pairs while homeschooling our children. It was quite an adventure!
The children are grown and have added a daughter-in-law and a son-in-law to the clan. My husband and I are on a new adventure living and working between Texas and Ohio. I am excited to see what kind of adventure my degree will make possible. :)
In my free time, I am an avid reader, budding seamstress, and collector of DIY projects. I enjoy spending time outdoors gardening or hiking, and traveling at home and abroad.
