Ronen Shilo, CEO of Conduit
I've always been very hands on. Before my startup days, I tried my luck at creating a musical jigsaw puzzle to teach pre-school kids math. And although my invention never made it to toy store shelves, I continued on my journey of innovation. Somewhere along the way, I stumbled upon the Internet world and — I must admit — I fell in love. Ever since, I've been on a mission to engage the world with groundbreaking Internet solutions that can strengthen connections between people, their content, or anything else that really matters.
Other than my undying passion for technology, I'm also addicted to tennis and running (especially while listening to Queen), as well as collecting vintage contraptions (as long as they're meaningful). In fact, I've dedicated a decent section of my office to my collection of stereoscopes, turntables, and dictating machines, each accompanied by its original advertisement. Why? I guess you can say I'm also a history buff and have a thing for aesthetics, but it goes deeper than that. I truly believe that technology is constantly evolving, and has the power to transform the world. Just take one look at my "personal museum," as someone once called my collection, and you'll understand why.
