Rongfei Geng

Rongfei Geng is a graphic designer, illustrator, thinker, and story-teller from China.

Rongfei’s research interests focus on his cultural identity and was informed by his experience of living and working in a different cultural environment. His explorations resulted in a range of scholarly and creative outcomes that addressed these and related issues. Examples include comparisons of western typographic study with East Asian characters, how storytelling could be used as a strategy to communicate values in Chinese culture, and how design activism can be used to approach social problems, especially those that are culturally-specific.

戎飞是来自中国的设计师、插画师、基督徒、也是伪文艺青年。工作时间的主要内容是设计，阅读，和做点研究。有时候胡思乱想，喜欢讲故事。

戎飞在就读烟台大学、南密西西比大学、还有佛罗里达大学以后分别拿到英语的学士学位、教育技术学理学硕士学位、以及平面设计的艺术硕士学位。他也曾在盛大网络、STA’nD设计工作室、烟台大学外国语学院教育技术中心、南密西西比大学教育和心理学院、甘城华人教会等地方负责和参与了很多设计项目，其中包括多媒体外语教材的开发、品牌和视觉识别系统、互联网电台项目、官方网站、室内导视系统等等。除此之外，他还在佛罗里达大学艺术学院教授本科生关于平面设计基础课程和界面设计的课程。

工作和教会服事以外，戎飞喜欢弹弹吉他，以及用影像和文字记录生活。他的兴趣还包括独立出版和自己录制小电影，尽管后者还没有来得及真正实现。
