Ronnie Sanders
Publisher and Agent in Birmingham, Alabama
Ronnie Sanders is an Auburn University alumnus whose diverse career spans sports media, coach representation, football operations, and politics. He is best known as the founder and publisher of Auburn Undercover, a leading multi-platform media enterprise covering Auburn athletics since 2008. With its robust website, popular podcast, and engaging YouTube channel—highlighted in a recent 15-year retrospective—Auburn Undercoverhas become the preeminent news source for Auburn fans nationwide.
Sanders’ media and entrepreneurial ventures also include founding the market-leading Duck Territory, which covers Oregon athletics. Both sites are featured on the 247Sports Network and CBS Sports.
Before launching Auburn Undercover, Sanders founded Football Rumor Mill, a groundbreaking coaching rumors website that set the stage for his ventures in sports media and representation. Leveraging his extensive network in the coaching community and his knack for breaking news with insider analysis, he seamlessly transitioned into representing college football coaches while establishing a prominent role in sports media. His deep involvement in college athletics is further demonstrated by his work with renowned programs such as Auburn, LSU, Florida, and Southern Miss, as well as NFL stints during summers with the Baltimore Ravens and Washington Redskins. Early in his career, he also served as a graduate assistant under legendary coach Nick Saban.
Sanders’ political background is noteworthy as well. While earning his Bachelor’s in Political Science from Auburn, he interned in the U.S. Senate and served as a youth delegate at one presidential nominating convention and as a delegation aide at another—experiences that placed him just feet away as a future president and vice president were nominated, paving the way for future roles in political fundraising and congressional work.
Sanders, based in Birmingham, Alabama, remains a key figure in sports media through his work at Auburn Undercover. He lives with his wife, Becky, and their three children—Alex, Chase, and Riley.
Adding a touch of humor, he has voiced characters over the years, most notably as “Mildred from Tuscaloosa” on The Paul Finebaum Show.
