Natural Artist and Nonprofit Promoter. Ronn attended North Phoenix High Schoolin Arizona. An accomplished artist, some of his numerous clients andsignatories of this work includes: Tiger Woods; NBA Hall of Famerecipient Connie Hawkins and San Francisco 49er football star,Garrison Hearst and the City of Phoenix, Arizona. An ex-Marine Corpsveteran he served during the Vietnam era.He attended FoothillsCollege in Los Altos California while working as a AssociateManufacturing Engineer for the Memorex Corporation in Santa ClaraCalifornia, his last position with Memorex was as a OriginalEquipment Manufacturing Engineer developing specifications forunilateral component compatibility for hardware manufacturers. In1985 he accepted a position with the McDonnell Douglas HelicopterCorporation in Mesa, Arizona as a Manufacturing Cost JustificationAnalyst. He opened his first art studio in 1987 in the historic SanCarlos Hotel in Downtown Phoenix. In 1996 he was awarded a“Percentage for Art” commission from the City of Phoenix Arizonato design and develop the Arizona Civil Rights Memorial. He openedhis second art gallery in Phoenix in 1998 under his new foundation,The Ronn Turner Foundation to the Arts, a 501 (a) (i) Corporation. Hesuccessfully applied and received a Charter School Application toteach art to 250 high school students in Arizona in 1998 under hisFoundation. He accepted the position of the Director of GalleryOperations for the San Joaquin County Arts Council in 1999. He signedwith a northern California Art licensing company in 2000 and hastraveled to Atlanta, New Orleans and Los Angeles participating invarious art festivals and showings. He served as the President of theSan Antonio Ethnic Art Society a thirty year organization dedicatedto mentoring students in 5to 12th grades. He alsoconsults small businesses and non-profits to optimize theirorganizations.
