The holder of a bachelor of science in management and administration from Oklahoma State University, Michigan resident Ron Sorey was an accomplished collegiate baseball player who was selected in the first round of the 1974 Major League Baseball Amateur Draft and played five seasons in the minor leagues before pursuing a career in sales. Ron Sorey began his business career as an on-premise sales representative and retail key account manager for a Michigan-based bottling company, and has since held progressive senior sales roles with companies across a variety of sectors.

Throughout his career, Mr. Sorey has led sales efforts to deliver total gross sales of $30 million for an office supplies company, helped produce an additional $100 million in revenue in the Michigan market for a credit card company, and consistently met sales targets in his recent roles with payment processing companies. In addition to his professional pursuits, he is an avid golfer and member of the Forest Lake Country Club.
