Ronald Sosnowski
With his exceptional expertise in the field of molecular diagnostics and human identification, Dr. Ronald Sosnowski has been able to obtain a significant number of approved patents and patent applications. Using the various programs he has gleaned from delving into the field of Biochemistry, Dr. Ron Sosnowski has been able to earn two federal grants which together totaled $1.5 million. These two federal grants were given to Dr. Sosnowski to do research on novel applications of Nanogen's technology for STR analysis. His tenure as Associate Director of Assay Development and Molecular Biology at Nanogen enabled Dr. Ron Sosnowski to become the principal Investigator for a Department of Justice (NIJ) Grant, and to eventually earn the grant which totaled $6.5 million. His stint as Senior Director of Molecular Biology and Research at Nanogen entailed that Dr. Ronald Sosnowski lead a research group with fully-funded grants of $2 million annually. In addition, Ronald Sosnowski served as the Chairman of a Nanogen-sponsored European Forensics Advisory Board which included four of the leaders in European Forensics. Automatically, the post entitled Ronald Sosnowski to become a member of the Invention Disclosure Review Board at Nanogen. Due to his impressive sales work at Nanogen, he was accordingly awarded a Nanogen Gold Account for Clinical Diagnostic and Forensic Sales.
