Hello! Thanks for checking out RookieMommyRaisingBoys.com. I'm Morgan.

I'm an English teacher and self-proclaimed Grammar Nazi by day, and a mom of two wild red-headed boys by night. I'm a word nerd who probably spends too much time writing in my head and not enough time writing things down on paper. My nerdiest moment was probably the time my students asked me what my favorite punctuation mark was, and I didn't even have to hesitate to answer (it's the comma, if you were wondering).

My boys are 1 and 2 years old, and keep me busy, busy, busy, but having toddlers 18 months apart isn't quite as bad as everyone tries to say it is. It takes some juggling and strategy, but it's mostly fun!

I'm married to my high school "sweetheart" (I don't always want to call him that), and even though we drive each other crazy, we stick together through thick and thin.

I started my blog after the birth of my oldest son because I lost a lot of weight and wanted to share tips and tricks with others. If you want to read more about that, check out my older posts. Lately, this blog has evolved into a mommy blog, and I'm having way too much fun writing it. I'm positive that my kids will look back at this someday and cringe or hate me, but that's totally fine because when they're about 30, they'll appreciate it.
