This guide should be applied by advanced Android users. Note that this guide can be used only if you’re running stock Android 4.4.2 KitKat KOT49H firmware. Do not try to update your phone if it runs on a custom ROM.
This new update comes with tons of bug fixes and tweaks that should make your device run better than it did before. The root nexus 4 4.4.2 update also brings better battery life for your Nexus.
Google has launched the official Android 4.4.3 KitKat Update official update worldwide for Nexus 4. Along with the OTA Update we have also found out that the ‘Update zip’ file for ‘adb sideloading’ is ready for download.
Check your smartphone’s notification panel starting today and be the one of the first Nexus 4 owners to complete the installation.
There aren’t any major changes added with this release. The KTU84L KitKat 4.4.3 for Nexus 4 brings mostly bug fixes and tweaks for a smoother UI and better overall OS stability. The only noticeable change would be the new Dialer app which adds news colors for blank contacts cards and a better looking dialing screen.
This update will roll out in stages, so not all Nexus 4 owners will get the new firmware files right away. But, they shouldn’t worry as this Android 4.4.3 is available as an update.zip file, too. This means that it can be installed via adb sideload using your phone’s stock Recovery or, if you have a custom Recovery then you should simply need to copy the KTU84L firmware zip file to your phone’s internal sdcard and install it from within.http://n4root.com
