Hello All! I am a 24 year old mother, military wife, nursing student, avid crafter, joyful cook, and recent Plant-Strong converter! I enjoy sharing my experiences and knowledge & love learning new things. I love creating (DIY'ing, because I admit it -- I'm cheap!) things whether it's by woodcrafting or knitting/crocheting. I enjoy chasing my Little and watching her grow and learn & witnessing that moment of "awe" I see in her eyes daily. I was blessed to have married a wonderful man, who creates a balance in my ever choatic life & truly accepts and appreciates the uncensored and less than perfect me. I love the smell of the salt water & the noise of waves crashing on the shore. I love homemade knitted warm and cozy socks & lemon in my water. I'm a fan of the older movies & British comedy is definitely my cup of tea. While we're on tea-- I love love love hot tea with a bit of honey after a long day (which let's face it, that's every day chasing a toddler!). I have a very close knit family that could easily star in a reality show. I was raised in Georgia where it's a sin to drink unsweet tea & we only have two seasons -- Hot and REALLY hot! I created this blog to share my journey of ups and downs on living a green, natural, and simple life in hopes that my experiences may provide laughter, inspiration, knowledge, and even good food to whoever decides to read.
