Rootstock brings together over 50 producers of fine wines and produce who share common philosophies on viticulture, produce growing, winemaking and sustainability. In tow are winemakers, grape growers, farmers, chefs, sommeliers, writers, thinkers and importantly, drinkers. To be held February 17th 2013 at the Italian Forum Cultural Centre, Norton St, Leichardt, NSW 10am-5pm + dinner from 7pm
o Rootstock Wine Festival (entry purchase via online $35/on door $40) – 30 + Wine Producers from Australia, New Zealand and Europe
o Rootstock Food Festival (free in the piazza) – 25+ food stalls (produce+chefs)
o Masterclasses ($30 per 45 minute sessions) - 6 wine/food masterclasses
o ‘Orange Wine’ Bar running all day with wine list changing by the hour hosted by high profile sommeliers and wine people
o Musical & Artistic acts throughout the day including Blue Juice in concert
o Rootstock Chefs & Winemakers Banquet Dinner ($200) with chefs Luke Burgess (Garagistes), Aaron Turner (Loam), Ben Greeno (Momofuku Sydney), Mat Lindsay (Ester Restaurant & Bar).
