The charismatic Ro Parrish has built an enviable career that showcases his remarkable diversity and extraordinary talents as a world-class emcee, television personality, sports host, music critic, pop-culture wiz, and entertainmentaficionado.

A graduate of the University of North Texas with a broadcasting degree in radio, television and film, Parrish has spent as much time in front of the camera as he has behind the turntables. It wasn’t long after his debut as sports director on NTTV that he landed on WSAV/NBC as a sports anchor, followed by on-air/hosting engagements with BET, the Dallas Cowboys, the nationally syndicated morning series Eye Opener TV and as the EMMY AWARD® winning host of the ‘Mavs Insider’ program on Fox Sports Southwest. Parrish is an NBA Entertainment personality as well, hosting numerous events during NBA All-Star Weekend such as the Jam Session 2010-2014 and five-time Voice of the NBA Celebrity Game. He is also a resident DJ for NBA All-Star Weekend and the NBA Nation Tour. He enjoyed six seasons with the Dallas Mavericks as the Official Team DJ, and is one of only three NBA DJ’s who’ve been part of an NBA Championship Team.

As talented with a turntable as he is in front of the camera, Ro Parrish, The DJ makes rocking crowds of over 50,000 look easy as the official DJ and Master of Ceremonies of the southwest’s biggest New Year’s Eve celebration, BigD NYE, with ABC simulcasts across Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Kansas. Also serving as the Music Director, overseeing the entertainment and the fireworks show, further demonstrating his versatility and firmly establishing himself as a recognized master of his art.

Parrish has performed as a club and special event DJ with hosts LeBron James, Usher, John Legend, Ice Cube, and countless others. He has also performed alongside and mixed at events with legendary DJ’s Jazzy Jeff and DJ Irie.

Parrish, hand picked as one of the original personalities for the Jerry Reinsdorf-owned 120 Sports in Chicago. This all-purpose performer also produced insightful pieces on pop culture, music and entertainment at the first all-digital sports network.

He has most recently appeared as a host on the ESPN family of networks and NFL Network's GameDay Prime.

Ro is also an active member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated and still makes time to mentor young men.
